Putt-Putt himself is a purple convertible who, like all good children's characters, manages to find himself in the strangest of situations. Similar to the Cars movies, it takes place in a world where anthroponomic vehicles stand-in for human beings (although there is disconcerting evidence that people once inhabited the world, raising worrying questions about what happened to them). Originally released in 1997 for Windows and Mac operating systems, Putt-Putt Travels Through Time is actually the third entry in the Putt-Putt series. The point and click adventure has been available on iOS and PC for the last few years, but this will be its console debut.
Classic edutainment game Putt-Putt Travels Through Time will soon be coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop.
